As a studio, most of the editorial, “Go No-Go” decisions come down to one person. The problem is, workload. We’ve spent the last month working feverishly to get four titles out the door, available online, and printed stock in house in time for Tidewater Comicon, and we have been mostly successful.
When you write, edit, proofread, design, typeset, and do prepress, any mistake feels like all of these functions failed.
The up side is, once you have everything out the door, you can go back to writing. Y’know, after shows, promotional work, doing sales, and all the other things that happen after a book goes to press.
